Summer Slam Training
We’re going to set up three or four Thursday night training sessions from 6:00pm–7:30pm to help get the boys into the 5-a-side mindset and ready for Summer Slam.
We’ll run a couple of sessions before the competition starts, then another couple once Summer Slam is underway.
The focus will be on getting used to the faster 5-a-side format — quick passing, movement, decision-making, attacking and defending in small spaces, and getting everyone comfortable playing together.
After those first few sessions, we’ll ease things back and see what the boys want to do. If they’re enjoying the Thursday sessions and want to keep them going during Summer Slam, we can continue from there.
The main thing is to get everyone together, have some fun and get into Summer Slam mode!
